My name is Amber Roberts, I was born and raised in the south and didn't even know animation was a career path until my final week in high school. What started me on my journey was a final project in high school where i decided to create a short animation for the final project. I had no less then 3 mental breakdowns and it nearly destroyed me but at the end I was satisfied and thought I would like to try that again. As far as I'm concerned if I'm willing to go through all that again then that means it's worth pursuing. I also have a very special relationship with games since a late night gaming session saved us from a horrible tragedy. I started my education in Jones College (Formally Jones County Junior College) with and associates in art while I determines the best animation school for me. I eventually chose to go the Savannah college of art and design (SCAD) for my bachelors graduating during the covid pandemic. Feeling as though I didn't get enough practice during my bachelors (partly due to the pandemic) I decided to pursue a Master's in Fine Art at the Academy of art University in San Francisco and will graduate in December 2025. Currently I am working hard on my game animation thesis. It has so far been a thrilling adventure in game animation and I look forward to the next step in life once I complete my education.
